Kudos to Friends with New Blogs!

I'm delighted to say that I've inspired my friends to begin their own blogs.  Diva Bobby just started The Cub's Point of View.  As you can see from his picture, Bobby is neither shy nor hesitant about expressing his unique point of view!  His blog will make you think, make you ponder, or definitely make you laugh!!

My little mija, Adriana, recently began Life with a Pinch of Latina, which focuses on her Hispanic culture, events, and recipes.   I love learning about new cultures and Adriana has really enlightened me about Hispanic traditions, relationships, and just information in general.  She's a spitfire and she'll bring this to her new blog!

I'm happy to say that I was the first follower for both of their blogs!  Take a look!!  I'm proud of you friends!!

Just Sayin...

I might not be someone's first choice, but I am a great choice.

I may not be rich but I am valuable.

I don't pretend to be someone I'm not, because I'm good at being me.

I might not be proud of some of the things
I've done in the past, but I am proud of who I am today.

I may not be perfect but I don't need to be.

Take me as I am, or watch me as I walk away!!!

Youth, Alas Far Gone

What in the hell happened to Lindsay Lohan's little sister Ali?  She was recently photographed and doesn't even look like the same person!  Her modeling agency states "As a young girl who is growing up, it's natural for her facial features to change slightly, and we see this with many of the younger models we represent. Aliana is a beautiful 17-year-old girl who is growing into her face and body, as is the norm for someone of her age. We take pastoral care of our models very seriously and encourage the models to maintain a healthy lifestyle and body shape."  Uh, nobody grows into their face like this!!  When I exited puberty, I didn't have a new nose, brow lift, and plumped lips!!  And at 17, she would have required her mom's permission for all the surgery!

Sad.  She was so cute before but now she looks like a 40-year old freak face!  She reminds me of the Italian socialite Michaela Romanini, who is in all the plastic surgery horror story articles.  Be careful, Ali...this could be you in a few short years!!

Sharkbite.....Bite Me!

Diva Lynn discussed with me the merits (or rather, lack of) of the "Sharkbite" shirt design, as shown below.  Not flattering!  It appears the design is in the shape of a shark's bite, which highlights one's tummy.  Who would think that is flattering?  I mean, both of these models are easily a size 1-3 but do they look it?  They look much larger; actually, they look pregnant!  And do they even look happy? The model in beige is so pissed off over wearing this ugly colored and cut top she's about ready to kick box the viewer's ass!!   The consensus is in; unless you are under the age of 10, the sharkbite needs to be put out to sea!
