Work Day One in Wisconsin

Here's the view on my way to lunch today - the Madison capitol building!  Ate lunch at one of the town favorites, The Old Fashioned (apparently the drink of Wisconsin.)  Enjoyed a grilled veggie sandwich, cheese curds, haystack onion rings, and mac and cheese - all yummy and too much of a good thing. 

After work I drove to the West Towne mall to see what Madison had to offer.  Other than a "Charming Charlie" accessories store, the rest of the shops were the same as in Washington/Oregon.  I did score a $2 sweater along with logging in some walking mileage so it was all good!
