Crafts in Action

A few weeks ago arrived to work and found the entry way table toppled over with a framed wall mirror broken. It appeared the mirror had fallen from the wall and caused the destruction.  After picking up the glass and setting things right, I moved the empty frame to one side.

Been looking at that glassless frame for awhile and knew it had better things in store for it. Got the green light to take it and decided to make a crafterpiece for my secret pal at work.

Scrounged up a Paris-themed tablecloth at home along with black ribbon. Brought out the staple gun and voila!  Perfect picture memo board was born!

Snuck it into her cube the following morning. She loved it! It's obvious we have each other as secret pals but we have to keep up the facade so was forced to feign surprise at what a cool gift she had received.

There's something about giving someone an unexpected smile that makes my day!
