While at my cousin's house, he shared the story of what did for his wife the previous day, her birthday. He got up early, made some bacon, then caramelized some of it. To cover his tracks, he brought Talia (a big bacon fan) a few pieces of bacon in bed. Later, he made homemade bacon ice cream for her birthday treat, folding in the caramelized bacon pieces. I was lucky enough to share some of this goodie after dinner with them. And it was yummy!!

A Little Bite of Bacon!!
I promise - this is the last posting about my New England trip!!
While at my cousin's house, he shared the story of what did for his wife the previous day, her birthday. He got up early, made some bacon, then caramelized some of it. To cover his tracks, he brought Talia (a big bacon fan) a few pieces of bacon in bed. Later, he made homemade bacon ice cream for her birthday treat, folding in the caramelized bacon pieces.
