*The clerk who, after seeing Sam's Batman hat, dared to ask him a "hard" trivia question. Of course Sam nailed it and the clerk was thoroughly impressed.
*The bird nest on our cabin porch that appeared to be empty; however, once the wind started, 5-6 starlings swarmed into the nest and huddled for warmth.
*Mike trying on several hats in the Long Beach hat store but refusing to let me take a picture because he "knew it would wind up on my blog!"....of course he was right about that!
*The school bus that was stuck trying to make a turn onto the main drag of Seaside.....hello??!!! That is not the kind of street for a school bus!
*The Astoria Sunday market.
*How good a nice, long, warm shower felt after arriving back home!
