Luck Was a Lady for Me!

The weekend was awesome!!  Diva Susan and I made our way to Spirit Mountain casino for my free trip. Checked in, unloaded our things, then hit the slot machines. I hit a jackpot so we celebrated! Invited the slot rep Dan to the costume party, then had dinner and drinks in the bar where we befriended Nebraska Lee, a great guy from Salem who met up with us later at the costume party.

After primping in our room, us flappers made our way to the party and "scaryoke" contest.  I passed on signing up for this gig as I just wasn't sure the type of talent would be presented.  The songs were backed by a live band rather than DJ; most of the singers were fairly good.  The winner turned out to be Dr. Evil who, while his singing wasn't that great, he won by virtue of a kick ass costume.

During the competition, Susan, Lee and I all cheered on the performers - it was great.  We were entered into the costume raffle and I was pleasantly surprised to end up winning $50!

Following the performances, we ended up playing some more.  In between all this my time was spent texting and emailing my prospects from POF.com.  I have been very, very busy with tons of texts and communication with a lot of different people.  Met for coffee last week with a very nice guy. Scheduling meetings with lots of other (yes, in public places.)  It's almost weird to have so many men in awe of my smile, my eyes, and the rest of me.  I've also become an expert at flirting!

Saturday Susan and I went to Lincoln City for Tanger Outlets and lunch.  Returning to Spirit Mountain, Dan the slot guy found me and said he had gone to party and tried to find me but couldn't. He gave me his number and we promised to meet up the next time I was in town.

Our weekend concluded when we got home about 4:30pm.  It was a long, eventful weekend; I stayed up late, drank a little too much, and had a pretty memorable time!!
