Goodbye Charly

Actor Cliff Robertson has died at 88.  The younger crowd know him as Uncle Ben in the Spiderman movies; I will always remember him from his Oscar winning role as a mentally disabled man in Charly.  That story, taken from Flowers from Algernon, was so incredibly sad - a mentally retarded man is given an experimental drug, becomes a genius and falls in love only to return to his original mental state as the drug's effect dissipates.
