During lunch I glanced over and thought I spotted another high school friend and neighbor, Renee. Hadn't seen her in years but was sure it was her, along with her mom. Sure enough, we confirmed it was her and spent time catching up as best we could. Popped over to see her mom, who couldn't believe it was me, this former plain jane neighborhood girl. She went on and on about how beautiful I was. Hmmm...I really must have looked the troll in high school.
It was a nice surprise visit, especially since Renee lives in Baltimore.
