Birthday Bonanza!

I survived another birthday and it was definitely a success!  My cell phone was beeping all day with messages of celebration and love; in addition, there were tons of greetings on Facebook from everyone under the sun so that gave me the warm fuzzies. 

My boss and co-workers took me to lunch at the company restaurant, which ended up with me being serenaded by the wait staff and then presented with this cotton candy confection!  After lunch the king of all birthday singers at work escorted me to the lobby while he and more co-workers hollered a howl to again recognize my big day.  I was definitely feeling the love!

After work I swung by the house and picked up my boys along with four of their buddies so we could continue the party at Red Lobster.  Now, my initial wish may have been to celebrate my birthday with six handsome strapping men; unfortunately, I didn't specify the appropriate age range so my birthday included me being surrounded by six teenage guys.  However, the kids are like my second sons and they were delighted to be involved in my party so in the end it was fabulous.  Especially when they continued to mention "you look good for 23!".  Gotta love 'em!
