Blinds and Beavers

Here's a taste of the hunting life.

Steve sent me a pic of one of his duck blinds that is ready to go. At some point this year I'll be experiencing the blinds up close and personal. Only been duck hunting once on Puget Island back in my 20's.  Up early, sat in a slough side blind, and froze off my ass and feet. Thankfully Steve's blinds are all set with chairs and heat.

Steve also traps for a variety of animals that cause damage - beavers, moles, etc.  He was telling me about a recent beaver kill so I had him send me a picture.  I expected blood and gore but it actually isn't too bad. And no, while sitting in a duck blind is acceptable, there won't be any trapping in my future!
